HELP, am in australia and was desparate to see U2 in concert. It's been 5 year since the PopMart tour rolled through and have been itching ever since.

Leading up to the concert I lived and drunk every morsel of U2 possible...

and then it happend... the concerts were postponed! AGRHHH... now I may have to wait until next year and I think I'm exhibitting early signs of BF! I hear early detection and prevention is better than finding a cure. SOMEONE HELP ME! I must be over my BF before U2 tour....

by the way, I tried the three guiness method - and apart from have a great night, the BF seems to be staying around...

Oh, thank heaven I found this site. I have had a chronic case of Bono fatigue since the release of 'How to dismantle...' CD, Africa Concert, and Bono's general hob nobbing with DC politico's that make the news everynight. Since then I have had trouble fastening my car seatbelt (vision), making decisions at Costco, and using my microwave as I feel the government may be lisening in. I hear Phizer is in third stage trial with Bonoxyl, an new pill that when taken to prescribed dosages alliviates the discomfort of seeing Bono's face everywhere. I've been told side affects include dizziness, vomiting and diarreah. Is anyone here taking it?

I tried listening to Coldplay to get over my Bono fatigue. Big mistake.
Coldplay sounds so much like U2 that it just makes me want even more.

What do you do if you suspect you have BF, but really don't even listen to U2 that much?

I feel somewhat strange- I really enjoy U2 and their music, yet I don't own any of their cds. But I still hear them all the time. I'm tired of hearing them playing in my friends' cars, hearing the soft din coming from the earbuds of their iPods, and getting countless emails to sign my name to the ONE campaign. I already signed it!!! Let me be!

I can't even pick up a magazine like Christianity Today or Relevant without seeing Bono's face on the cover or standing next to an african bishop. As soon as I hear the opening riff to WTSHNN (you know what song I
mean) I start to feel sick.

Thank you for a safe place to come, although the ads by Google which make this site possible still make this safe place feel a little scary, since it means U2 info and merchandise is only a click away.

I thought I was pretty cool when I first identified Bono as a prophet. Little did I realize that my perception was not unique, but an early common symptom of BF.

Things went downhill quickly from there. As many of you know, BF leads to other acronyms. For me IBS was the worst, at first not connecting the all night U2 binges with the subsequent and immediate gastric phenomena. My body knew something I didn't, that I needed to purge. And boy, did I purge.

The money I spent on CDs, U2 paraphernalia, and toilet paper nearly bankrupted us. I still remember my 5 year-old daughter tugging on my shirt, her belly bloated from malnutrition, "Daddy, will we be able to eat tonight?" I was parked on the toilet with my IPOD on its 12th repetition of Kite, and it hit me. We had become Africa, 1 self-indulgent dictator and 4 starving children.

My IPOD clogged the toilet during the flush but when I fished it out my entire U2 collection was thankfully erased. Thank you God.

I'll be getting my 1 year chip next week.

Is it possible to develop BF just by hanging around other people infected with it? I have friends who are REALLY into Bono etc., and I'm afraid for my own health. What should I do to protect myself against BF?

I don't know what you people are talking about. I can NEVER get enough of BONO!! The guy ROCKS! You know he's right. If you people are having trouble, maybe it's because you are NEGLECTING the very things BONO stands for! Things YOU should stand for!
Gimme some more BONO!
